Alumni Career Advising

One-on-one Appointments

The Hiatt Career Center offers one-on-one career advising to Brandeis undergraduate alumni, free of charge, for life. Schedule a 30- or 60-minute appointment in-person, over the phone or via Skype to get individualized career coaching from our dedicated career counselors.

Popular advising topics include: resume/cover letter reviews, LinkedIn profile reviews, networking tips, job search, career change and more. To make an appointment, call the Hiatt Career Center at (781) 736-3618 or email hiattcenter@brandeis.edu.

Hours of Operation

The Hiatt Career Center is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Evening appointments are available upon request.

Office Location

The Hiatt Career Center is located on the first floor of the Usdan Student Center, Room 15 (see campus map). Our office is marked with a prominent banner on the side window.

Career Development Workshops

The Hiatt Career Center also offers a number of workshops, both in-person and online, that address popular career development topics. Five O'Clock Club Membership

Brandeis alumni can register for a free membership in The Five O’Clock Club, a national organization that helps people grow their careers or find new jobs. Membership usually costs $49. As a Five O’Clock Club member, you will get:

  • A monthly magazine containing information on career development and job search
  • Access to the Members Only section of the website, including the monthly magazine archive
  • Worksheets for career and job development
  • Access to How to Use Social Media in Your Job Search and Career Explorer’s Resource Guide
