JAMIN

 JAMIN is the Hiatt Career Center's on-line recruiting system connecting Brandeis students and alumni to employers seeking to recruit Brandeis students and graduates for all types of careers and levels.  As an employer, you will be able to post jobs, internships, fellowships and research opportunities with Hiatt for free.  Registering as an employer in JAMIN will allow you to have complete control over your posting and help connect you to qualified candidates from Brandeis.

Registering your Organization

  • Create your employer account in JAMIN here
  • Select "Employer/Graduate School Registration" and enter the name of your organization to see if it already exists in our system
  • If no results appear, click on "register your organization"
  • Enter a user name and password without any symbols or spaces
  • Continue to enter information for all fields marked in red including:  Organization Name, Description, Web Address, Location and Physical Address, Industry and Organization Type
  • Click "submit information" and proceed to the next page
  • Enter all information for fields marked in red including:  Division, First and Last Name, Title, Office Phone and Address
  • Click "submit information"
  • A message inidicating that you will receive an email confirming your employer registration shortly should appear
  • Once your registration has been reviewed and approved, you will be emailed information confirming your account in JAMIN with instructions to log in
  • In order to post positions in JAMIN, log in with the user name and password you selected and click on "New Postings" across the top

Posting in JAMIN

Once you have registered in JAMIN as an employer your account will be reviewed and approved by Hiatt within 24 business hours.  You will then be able to log in to JAMIN and post jobs, internships, fellowships or research opportunities you wish to make available to Brandeis students.   Employers can control the duration for which the posting is active in our system, the qualifications to view and apply and the way in which applications are submitted and received.    

To post a job, internship, fellowship or other opportunity in JAMIN:

  • Log in with your user name and password here
  • Click on the "New Postings" tab across the top
  • Select job type from the drop down list.  Use the Ctrl button to select more than one job type.  Selecting as many job types that are relevant to the position description and the industry will increase visibility
  • Add State and City to "desired job location"
  • Check appropriate box(es) for job level.  Make sure to check more than one if relevant
  • Enter job title including organization name and position
  • Enter a detailed description of the position
  • Include information on salary if known
  • Select the appropriate box for "How would you like candidates to contact you?"
  • Enter a specific deadline for the posting to expire or choose one of our pre-selected options of 30 days, 60 days or 90 days
  • Check the appropriate box to indicate whether or not you organization is recruiting international students
  • Make sure the box for "show employer name" is checked
  • Once you have entered all of the relevent information, check the box for "I have carefully read the notice" and "Preview"
  • Review the posting and click either "submit" or "edit" to make any changes

To edit, duplicate or repost your position:

  • Log in to JAMIN with your user name and password here
  • Click on the "Job History" tab across the top
  • A list of all postings from you organization will appear
  •  To the right of each posting are a set of icons.  Use your mouse to hover over each icon to read a brief description of its function.
  • To edit a posting, click on the pencil and add, remove or change information in the posting
  • To repost the job, click on the green arrow.  Prior applicants will remain with the reposted position. Once you have clicked the repost icon, you must also edit the posting to change the deadline to apply date. You do this by clicking on the pencil icon, and changing the expiration date from the dropdown menu.
  • To duplicate a posting that has previously expired, click on the third icon across that looks like a sheet of paper with a small gold star.  Previous applicants will not appear with a duplicated posting.
  • To delete a posting from JAMIN entirely, click the last icon to the right.  A green check mark will appear to confirm that you wish to delete the posting.
