Joe’s career is a testament to the opportunities a liberal arts education can provide. Joe has taught high school, practiced corporate law in New York City and held a senior leadership position at Teach For America, in addition to serving as a senior staff member at the NYU Office of Career Services prior to joining the Brandeis community.
Joe also co-chairs the NACE Leadership Advancement Program and serves on the executive board of the Liberal Arts Career netWORK Job Development Committee.
Joe received a B.A. in History and Religion from Duke University, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from NYU.
Areas of focus include: finance, consulting, business, and hi-tech
Cary Weir Lytle ’98, M.B.A., Associate Director of Employer Relations

Prior to joining Hiatt, Cary developed institutional partnerships and programs that created access to jobs, internships and scholarships for underrepresented students and professionals as Vice President of Student Affairs for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and Assistant Director of Graduate Admission for Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business.
Cary currently co-chairs the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE) Professional Exchange Committee.
Cary received an MBA from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University, a Masters in Global Marketing Communication from Emerson College, and a B.A. in Psychology from Brandeis University.
Areas of focus include: biotechnology/pharmaceuticals, health care, science research, and policy
Angela Gugliotta, M.S., Recruiting Coordinator

Prior to coming to Brandeis, Angela worked as the Assistant Director of Community Service and Leadership Programming at Curry College in Milton, MA. Angela comes to the Hiatt Career Center with experience in event planning, student advising and leadership education. In her role as Recruiting Coordinator, Angela supports the Employer Relations team in their employer outreach efforts, assists in event planning and manages the B.hired (formerly Hiatt NACElink) database.
Angela received a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Communication from Bryant University and an M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in College Student Personnel from URI.
Areas of focus include: job/internship postings, scheduling on-campus recruiting events or resume collections, and event logistics
