The Hiatt Career Center will host the Government Careers Forum and Networking Event to discuss careers in federal and state government. This event will feature a panel presentation which will be followed by an open networking session where students/alumni may connect with employers about their agencies and the types of  career and internship opportunities that exist within them.

This inaugural event serves as a platform for employers, students, faculty and industry professionals to discuss professional paths and current trends in a diverse array of research and business fields focused on science. This event will feature a panel of experts which will be followed by an open networking session for students/alumni to connect with employers and professionals to learn about their organizations, fields, career paths and potential opportunities for internships and full-time positions.

Prominent colleges and universities partner to host 5 Career Fairs every January. The fairs are broken up into two parts, a morning career fair (9:00-11:30am) open to all students from consortium schools and afternoon interviews (12:15-5pm).

The nonprofit career fair will consist of:
•    An informal networking period for nonprofit recruiters and representatives from local colleges and university Offices of Career Services.
•    The fair itself, where job seekers can distribute resumes and speak with nonprofit recruiters about current and future employment, internship, and volunteer opportunities.
