The following documents are available to assist in the development of academic internships at Brandeis.  

UCC Internship Guidelines --Revised in 2009 by the University

Registrar's Form for Adding a "92a/b" Independent Internship & Analysis course

Registrar's Form for Adding a "93a" Research Internship course 

Sample Learning Agreement/Contract --This form is a sample of what a student completes with his/her placement site supervisor prior to embarking on an internship.

Sample Learning Objectives --This form is a sample of a set of learning objectives decided upon by a student and faculty member regarding the learning outcomes for the internship and the academic component.

Supervisor Evaluation --This form allows the site to evaluate the students.

Student Internship Evaluation --This program allows the students to evaluate the sites which help let us know if we should continue sending students in the future.

Pre Site Intro Letter --This letter is currently designed for IGS (International and Global Studies).  It is helpful to utilize if students are seeking out sites on their own. They can then give the form to a potential site and the site will be able to learn about the requirements of your program. Additionally this letter can be used to give current sites a better understanding of the internship program.
