Senior Etiquette Dinner (12/10)

Are you concerned about proper behavior during a professional or formal meal? Are you interested in learning more about networking? Do you enjoy food and prizes?
Enjoy a three-course meal while etiquette expert and career center director Andrea Dine teaches the art of balancing dining etiquette with networking skills. Andrea's presentation will include various etiquette practices. At the beginning of each course, she will review the specific techniques involved in that portion of the meal. Then the attendees will test their new etiquette knowledge while getting to know one another.
Since professionally beneficial conversations often take place over food, and interviews for internships and jobs may involve some form of eating, learning how to combine mealtime manners with effective networking is vital. Each table of approximately 10 students will have one alumni table host to create a more legitimate networking atmosphere. The table hosts will share their past etiquette and networking experiences (both positive and challenging) with their tables.
Space is limited and RSVP is required via B.hired > Events > Workshops.
Vegetarian and kosher meals are available. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any dietary restrictions. This event is co-sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Hiatt Career Center.
