Thank you for your interest in the Social Impact Job, Internship and Volunteer at Brandeis University.
Social Impact Job, Internship & Volunteer Fair at Brandeis University
Tuesday, October 6, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Sherman Function Hall, Hassenfeld Conference Center
Co-sponsored by the Hiatt Career Center, Department of Community Service and Waltham Group
- 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Community Partner & Employer Lunch
- 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Open Networking
- 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. On-site Informational and Screening Interviews (optional)
This fair connects and provides an outlet for students, faculty, staff and alumni to explore job, internship and volunteer opportunities. Select students will be invited to interview on-site with employers directly following the fair. We acknowledge that the timetable for this event is during the typical class day and lunch schedule and therefore will be providing healthy Kosher, vegetarian, and vegan snacks and beverages.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore how they can volunteer today, develop a skill set and reflect upon their service tomorrow, and perhaps join the 20% of Brandeis alum who dedicate themselves to a Year-In-Service post-graduation. The fair will provide an outlet to learn how you can explore yourself by investing your time into the service of others.
Do you currently volunteer at Brandeis? Are you looking to do something different? Come and network with a variety of professionals from organizations that address poverty, public health discrepancies, the education gap, environmental sustainability, and who support youth and families, immigrants, elderly and many others.
Are you looking to make new friends, come and meet student leaders of the Waltham Group and see how you can take on a leadership role within this organization?
Are you considering a Year in Service program after graduation? This fair will open your eyes to the variety of opportunities here in Boston, throughout the US, and around the globe. Come learn what qualifications employers are looking for and how you can volunteer this year to expand your resume and knowledge.
