Recruiting Deadlines - Fall 2008 and Spring 2009
* Note: This is a preliminary list of events designed for student to explore and connect with opportunities in the finance and consulting industries. For students interested in Investment Banking and Consulting:
- Seniors: Resume books are due August 1
- Sophomores and Juniors: Final resume to be submitted to JAMIN finance and consulting resume book by November 24
- Important for all students: Students must meet with a Hiatt counselor in order to submit their resume to this resume collection. Be sure to have your resume reviewed by a Hiatt professional in advance of this meeting to ensure your resume is ready for submission. Appointments are available daily and walk-in appointments are available Mon through Thursday.
Fall 2008 - Spring 2009 Educational and Recruiting Events
April 1: Investment Banking and Equity Research Presentation by: Carl McDonald '00 from Oppenheimer
- Learn about the finance industry and how to best position yourself for a career in finance. Industry research, networking, and recruiting preparatin will be discussed. Come with your questions!
April 8: Ready, Set, Go! Getting off the Starting Block in Finance and Banking!
- Hear success stories from your classmates who will be working on Wall Street this summer.
April 4: Summer 2008 Shadowing and Alumni Networking applications due
- This program will allow you to shadow and network with Brandeis alumni in finance or consulting to explore or confirm your interest.
April 11: Shadowing Pre-departure and Alumni Networking workshops
May - August: Welcome to Wall Street Alumni - Student Connect program
- Designed to match students working or interning on Wall Street this summer to a Brandeis alumni mentor for summer. Learn how to optimize your first few days, weeks, months on the job.
June 1-30: Hiatt's Shadowing and Alumni Networking Month!
August 1: Deadline for seniors to have final resume submitted to resume book.

Mid-October: Resumania for Goldman Sachs Women's Undergraduate Summit
Mid-October: Applications to Hiatt's Winter Shadowing & Alumni Networking Experience due
