Directory of Development Organizations is an extensive country-specific listing of organizations related to all aspects of political, social, and economic welfare.

Federation of International Trade Associations offers links to a wide range of useful directories of international businesses.

Interaction is an umbrella group of 160 NGOs working around the world on a wide range of social, political, and economic issues – research organizations and find volunteer opportunities.

The International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the American Association of Museums (AAM) websites list museums, resources, and jobs.

Literary Marketplace is a directory of the publishing business.

NIRA offers a World Directory of Think Tanks.

United States Institute of Peace lists International Organizations and Research Centers in International Relations.

AIESEC is an international student organization of students with global interests.

American Friends Service Committee offers service, development, social justice, and peace programs world-wide.  

American Jewish World Service has summer volunteer opportunities in South Asia, Central America, and Africa.    

American-Scandinavian Foundation work placements in Scandinavia for students.

Amigos de las Americas volunteers work on projects in community health and development throughout Latin America. 

British Council work experiences, including a program to teach in England.
