Revisit and update your resume and TypeFocus Journal
1.___ Update resume
2.___ Continue doing all good things from earlier efforts: good grades, activities, faculty contacts, attending career-related programs, career and grad school fair
3.___ Take data from your TypeFocus Journal to create "Your Ideal Job Profile" (IJP), listing the weighted criteria of what you want in a career.
4.___ Network with alums for informational interviews
5. ___ Use your IJP as a blueprint and compare career choices to it. Good sources of info: the Hiatt Web site, Google, family & friends, faculty, shadowing, alumni info interviews, internships and shadowing
6.___ Consider short (after graduation) and long term (5 years out) career goals and decide whether to get a job, apply to law/graduate school, volunteer or travel
7.___ Law school and graduate school: Identify schools and programs of interest. Utilize UAA resources and make an appointment with Hiatt's Graduate/Law school advisor 781-736-3618
8.___ Job: Visit Hiatt to discuss career goals, marketing strategy and action plan. Link to appointments
9.___ Update resume and cover letter.
10.__ Pursue summer job that will meet your goals. Consider your resources including alumni connections.
