A letter of invitation from an internship sponsor is required along with all other WOW application materials by the deadline, February 29, 2008. However, some students may be applying for formal internship programs that notify applicants if they have received the internship after the WOW deadline.

The letter describes the WOW program and asks the provider for consideration in reviewing and making a decision on your application within a timeframe that would allow you to meet the WOW deadline. This letter is meant to assist students by requesting consideration only; it is not a directive to the organization or a substitute for your internship offer. Some providers may be able to expedite your review and others may not. In all cases, you must have the internship offer in hand and submit it with the complete application by the WOW deadline.
