$1000 Campership Incentives
Students who have never previously attended a Jewish summer camp may qualify for a $1000 incentive grant from the
Foundation for Jewish Camp. This is a non-needs based incentive program, intended to encourage students to participate in a first-time, daily immersive summer Jewish experience (at least three weeks long). Unfortunately, students who attend a day school are not eligible for this program.
BIMA and Genesis have a limited number of One Happy Camper incentive grants to give out. You should apply for the grant as soon as possible by filling out an online form at www.onehappycamper.org. If you think you qualify for this incentive grant, please contact us. If you receive a BGI scholarship for Russian speaking Jews, you may not qualify for this grant.
The Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) is the only public organization dedicated solely to nonprofit Jewish overnight camps. FJC employs a variety of strategies toward a single goal: to increase the number of children in Jewish summer camps. Through strategic partnerships on local and national levels, FJC raises the profile of Jewish camp and serves as a central resource for parents and organizations alike. FJC works with more than 150 camps, 70,000 campers, and 10,000 counselors across North America to further its mission. www.jewishcamp.org
