Summer Employment Opportunities

Internship Opportunities

Impact Boston



June 18 - July 23, 2012


Group Educators

The Impact Boston Group Educators are residential educators and activists with a passion for service and Jewish service learning. The Group Educator works on site with the participants and is charged with the task of helping them integrate all of their various experiences into a deeper understanding of social action and service. Madrichim

Madrichim live in the dorms with participants and, in partnership with the Group Educators, make up the residential staff. Madrichim are responsible for driving teens and staff in 11-passenger vans to their daily service sites and other destinations. Madrichim will live in the dorms with the teens and other staff, and have responsibilities relating to dorm life and supervision. Madrichim will have a chance to engage in service and learning off campus with one of the Impact Boston site teams. This position is ideal for current juniors and seniors in college who are experienced van drivers and are interested in learning more about experiential Jewish education in a creative, diverse Jewish community.  Read the full job description.


International Programs


June 12 - August 6, 2012 (approximate)

We are hosting two groups of Jewish Day School students from overseas- one from Vienna, and one from Sao Paulo. Students will participate in a "taste of" program including mini-courses based on BIMA and Genesis courses, and travel around the Boston area.

Programs Coordinator

The International Programs Coordinator will be the lead person responsible for implementing these programs, working with the students and overseeing the residential staff. An ideal candidate has experience leading a program and decent knowledge of Orthodox Judaism. Read the full job description.

Residential Staff
