Office of High School Programs


Health Coordinator

The health coordinator will be the point person for health related issues of the Impact Boston, BIMA, and Genesis participants, communicating internally with the participants and the staff, and externally with health care providers and parents. Communications Specialists

We full-time full-time residential communications specialists to work with Impact Boston, BIMA and Genesis.  The communications specialists together will be responsible for all external communications throughout the summer to parents and friends of the programs. BIMA and Genesis
 

Community Educators

The team of Community Educators lives with the participants and is responsible for designing and implementing a curriculum of experiential learning. Community Educators are typically graduate students or professionals who have worked with high school students in Jewish experiential (and arts) settings.  Read the full community educator job description.

Internship Opportunities

BIMA Internship

This internship is designed for current juniors and seniors in college who are interested in learning and practicing arts education in a creative, diverse Jewish community. There are four internships available.  Read the full internship description.

Genesis Internship
This internship is designed for current juniors and seniors in college who are interested in learning and practicing experiential Jewish education in a creative, diverse Jewish community. There are up to four internships available.  Read the full internship description.

Jewish and Community Life Coordinators

We have openings for two Jewish and Community Life Coordinators (JCLCs) for BIMA and Genesis. The JCLCs together oversee Jewish communal life and residential life, working closely with and providing guidance for the residential staff.  These are full-time, residential positions from June 1 through August 9. Impact Boston

Group Educators

The Impact Boston Group Educators are residential educators and activists with a passion for service and Jewish service learning. The Group Educator works on site with the participants and is charged with the task of helping them integrate all of their various experiences into a deeper understanding of social action and service. International Programs and New Initiatives


Every summer we welcome a group of teens from Escola Beit Yaacov, a Jewish Day School in São Paulo, Brazil. In addition, we are in the process of developing several new residential programs, including 3D Game Design and Mock Trial Boot Camp. Residential Staff positions will be available throughout the summer for these programs.

Residential Staff are college Juniors or Seniors who have experience in a residential program setting. Residential Staff live in the dorms with the participants and take part in all activities and trips. Contact Shimshon Siegel, Director of New Initiatives, for more information on these positions.
