Kindness: Pass It On!
Celebrate Brandeis Kindness Day Nov. 15
Send a smile, give a hug, all day long you will be loved! —Stephanie Geiger
November 15 is Brandeis Kindness day, where all are encouraged to appreciate those around them through various activities. We encourage you to appreciate all of those around you and thank the people who impact your daily life: your friends, family, staff, professors and everyone else! A simple thank you will go a long way.
Any day or any week is a good time to show kindness, so check the schedule of events below and the list of ways to show acts of kindness and pass it on!
Postcards
Send a Kindness Day postcard to show your appreciation! Pick-up and complete postcards located at one of our tables during the following times, or use our Kindness Day drop boxes located at the Information Booth in the Shapiro Campus Center or the Post office in Usdan.

- Make sure to say "please" and "thank you."
- Hold the door open for another person.
- Have a meal with a friend
- Treat a friend to coffee
- Take the time to ask someone about their day
- Write a note of appreciation on one of the Kindness day postcards and pass it on via campus mail.
- Volunteer for one of our service projects mentioned above.
- Order a Thanksgiving pie through Brandeis Dining Services here!
Brandeis Dining Services will be giving $1 from each pie and bread sold to the Community Day Center of Waltham. Last year $250 was donated and we hope to give even more this year. Order online or at one of our tables to help spread some kindness to the homeless.
