Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

What We Do

The HRIS function and is a strategic and collaborative partner with internal Human Resources (HR), and Information Technology Services (ITS) management in the selection and implementation of new HR technology and system enhancements. We strive to improve administrative processes and entry of all employee transactions into BUSS. HRIS develops and modifies HR reports, provides reporting analytics and metrics to support Senior Managements strategic decision-making initiatives. HRIS also oversees the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Website.

  • Directs and manages development and modification of HR reports, QA assessments, PeopleSoft modifications.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Website.

  • First Tier contact, responsible for investigating, analyzing and resolving end-user data problems and system issues. Contact to follow-up with inquiries regarding tickets submitted to HRIS for employee data changes (i.e: Prospective Labor Distribution Change Notice, new hires/rehires, One Time Payments, Report To changes, BUSS access for employees and affiliates)
  • Responsible for maintaining and making modifications to established reports.
