Barbara(`54) and Richard Rosenberg

The Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance at IBS is named in honor of Barbara and Richard Rosenberg.

Barbara Rosenberg
Barbara Cohen Rosenberg is a 1954 graduate of Brandeis University and has earned an M.A. from Harvard University and a PhD from the University of San Francisco. Barbara is a Trustee of Brandeis University and has played leadership roles in many other organizations, including Hebrew University, the San Francisco Jewish Home for the Aged, the Department of jewish Studies at Stanford University, Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS), and the San Francisco Public Library.

Richard Rosenberg
Richard Rosenberg is a former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America and has also held senior positions with Seattle-First National Bank, Seafirst Corporation, and Wells Fargo Bank. He received his B.S. From Suffolk University, His M.B.A. and J.D. from Golden Gate University. Mr Rosenberg serves on the boards of the California Institute of Technology, the San Francisco Symphony and the San Francisco United Way, and has served on numerous corporate boards, including Airborne Express, Chronicle Publishing, Northrop Grumman, Pacific Life, and SBC Communications. Mr Rosenberg is a retired Commander in the United States Naval Reserve.
