Little Sprout symbolizes innovationThe Brandeis Virtual Incubator fosters entrepreneurship in Brandeis students, post-doctoral fellows, staff and faculty. The Virtual Incubator is a focal point for anyone at Brandeis interested in technology commercialization-the intersection of business and science. The Virtual Incubator's activities are four-fold, designed to foster entrepreneurial activities within the Brandeis community including:

Brandeis SPROUT, I-Corps, and SPARK Grant Programs

The SPROUT and I-Corps programs (for bench research) and SPARK program (for non-bench research) are seed funding opportunities designed to "step-up" selected Brandeis technologies and make them more attractive for licensing and commercial development. If you are a Brandeis scientist, fellow, student, or faculty, we provide financial help to prove the commercial worth of your ideas. Grants of up to $50,000 are available via SPROUT and I-Corps, and grants of several thousand dollars are available through SPARK. Applications are made available on this page, and the Brandeis Innovation homepage, when judging is open.

SPROUT

SPROUT grant funding program

SPARK

Brandeis' SPARK financial awards and virtual incubator program help bring non-bench research startups come to life through grants of $1,000+ as well as mentorship and training.

I-Corps
