Wednesday, Oct. 29
6 p.m. at the Schuster Institute
Joining us for chat and pizza on October 29 was Alison Bass, author of Side Effect: A Prosecutor, a Whistleblower, and a Bestselling Antidepressant on Trial.
“A maverick state prosecutor and a gutsy whistleblower take on the drug industry–and win.”
Bass, a 1975 Brandeis alumnus and lecturer in the Department of American Studies, is an award-winning journalist whose new book tells the true story of two women who exposed the deception behind the making of a bestselling drug.
This discussion followed the Meet the Author event, which took place the same day in the Shapiro Campus Center, 2nd floor, Multipurpose Room.
