Tom Friedman '75 Helps Kick Off Institute

On October 18, 2004, Tom Friedman--Brandeis alumnus, New York Times columnist, and three-time Pulitzer Prize winner--spent a full day on the Brandeis University campus to help publicize the opening of the Brandeis Institute for Investigative Journalism. He met with students from the University's journalism program, delivered an address in Spingold Theater, and attended a cocktail celebration at the Chestnut Hill home of the Institute's founding million-dollar contributors, Elaine and Gerry Schuster.

In the fall of 2006, Friedman will return to Brandeis to co-teach a course called "The Economics of Globalization."
