The ISSO orientation is presented in two required sections: Part 1 and Part 2.
Part 1 is presented online before you arrive, through Latte. Latte is Brandeis University's online teaching and learning environment. You will become very familiar with Latte during your time at Brandeis. You will receive an email with the link to access the orientation a couple months before your program begins. In order to log into Latte for orientation, you will use your Brandeis username and passphrase. This means that you must have your Brandeis email set up in order to access online orientation. ISSO Orientation Part 1 will review visa regulations as well as issues of employment, social security numbers, travel, and other pertinent information.
Orientation Part 2 is an in-person session held after you arrive and will give you the opportunity to meet ISSO staff and ask questions. You are strongly encouraged to complete ISSO Orientation Part 1 prior to coming to ISSO Orientation Part 2.
Your visa status during your Brandeis program is your responsibility. Please make every effort to complete both sessions.
