Register for Duo

As part of the ITS Security initiative, we are moving towards implementing Duo Security two-factor authentication across campus. Passwords can be easily compromised due to phishing or malware. When it comes to account security, it’s best to protect it with both something you know (your password) and something you have (Duo with your phone or mobile app).

ITS is working with departments to enable Duo two-factor authentication on faculty and staff Brandeis accounts; more than half are already enrolled in Duo. We also encourage you to register on your own — it only takes about five minutes! All faculty and staff must be enrolled in Duo by April 1, 2019.

After Duo is enabled on your account, when you log into a Duo-enabled service or system such as LATTE or Gmail, you will be prompted to enroll a second factor device to be used for future logins. Second-factor devices include:
