What are ZOOM's key features?

What might I use this service for?

How do I get an account?

This service is open to the entire Brandeis community. To obtain a personal meeting room, visit brandeis.zoom.us. Log in with your Unet credentials and you will automatically be assigned a personal meeting room.  For help getting started, please email webconferencing@brandeis.edu.

A training video with step-by-step instructions for setting up your account can be viewed here.

What equipment do I need?

Web conferencing requires a webcam and a microphone or telephone (most webcams include an internal microphone). Your laptop or desktop monitor may already have a webcam and microphone built-in. Webcams are available for loan from Media Technology Services or feel free to reach out to us for recommendations on equipment purchasing by emailing webconferencing@brandeis.edu.

How can I learn more?

Documentation and instructional videos can be found on the Brandeis Knowledge Base.

Additional information and video tutorials can be found at support.zoom.us.

Please send support requests to webconferencing@brandeis.edu
