Tentative Weekly Schedule

JBS is an intensive and immersive experience and students should expect to be engaged in programming four to five days a week for most of the day. Classes will generally meet Monday-Thursday. Class sessions will include lectures, workshops, and hands-on activities; students will be expected to complete certain assignments outside of these sessions. Below is a draft schedule to use as a guideline. A final schedule will be provided to students at the start of the program.

Summer 2011, May 31 - July 22, eight weeks

1:30 P.M. - 4:00 p.m. Fundamentals of motion picture editing FILM 110B

WEEK 2 (JUNE)
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Story development ENG 49A
1:30 p.m.  - 4:00 p.m.  Fundamentals of motion picture editing FILM 110B

WEEK 3 (JUNE)
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Screenwriting ENG 49A
1:30 p.m.  - 4:00 p.m.  Production of a pre-existing script FILM 110A

WEEK 4 (JUNE)
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Screenwriting ENG 49A
1:30 p.m.  - 4:00 p.m.  Post-production of the first film FILM 110B

WEEK 5 (JULY)
