“My time at the Hornstein program provided me with the building blocks for growth and success as I embarked on a career in the Jewish community: In addition to developing a network of teachers and mentors ( from my classmates, fieldwork supervisors and the faculty) I studied the value of thinking critically about community issues from a variety of perspectives, instead of solely relying on my own instincts. All of this occured, while I examined my role as a communal leader and my relationship to Jewish life. I loved the Hornstein program while I was enrolled, but I have been extremely grateful for the education I received every day since graduation.”
