This film remains an excellent vehicle to explore the questions surrounding the controversial 'who is a Jew' debate. It's a compelling look behind the issues concerning the often controversial role that religion plays in identity. Orthodox, Jewish atheists, Russian immigrants, kibbutzniks and others discuss their views on the subject. Interviews include Abba Eban, Rabbi Goren, Yigal Alon, and David Ben-Gurion.
