In 1968 Poland expelled
the last remaining Jews from what once was the largest Jewish community
in the world, effectively ending an over one thousand-year history.
Interspersing archival footage from 1968 with letters from the period
and personal interviews, the film reveals many painful stories, including
that of the director's father.
