FAQ: How Do I Add a TA or Course Assistant to My Course?
Step 1: Click on “Assign Roles” in your course.
Option A: Click on “Grading TA” if you wish your TA to be able to view grades.
Option B: Click on “Librarian of Course Assistant” if you wish your assistant to be able to add or modify resources or activities, but not to have access to any grades.
Step 3: In the next screen that appears type in name of person you wish to add in the search box. You can search with first and last name or UNet ID. Click “Search.” The person’s name appears in the right hand box, under “potential users”.
Step 4: After the search, highlight the name in the right hand box by clicking on it. Click the left pointing arrow between the boxes to move the name into the “existing users”. That’s it! The person is now in the Grading TA role.
To remove a Grading TA: Reverse the process by highlighting a name in the left box and clicking the arrow pointing to the right. The name will disappear from both columns.
