Brandeis International Business School
The study of globalization is at the heart of the Brandeis International Business School (IBS).
Our mission is to provide students with a transformational educational experience that prepares them to become professional and principled managers, community leaders and global citizens. Through a systematic exploration of international business, economics and finance, our students gain “crosscultural fluency” — the ability to conduct business effectively across borders.
The content of our curriculum, the research interests of our faculty and the makeup of our student body all contribute to making IBS a truly international school. Our graduates can be found throughout the world, working in the public and private sectors — in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and, of course, North America.
IBS is closely affiliated with the economics department, which shares the same building. Economics faculty hold joint appointments in IBS and teach many of the courses.
Intellectual rigor, cultural diversity, intimate scale: IBS provides a superior academic experience that gives students the tools necessary to achieve success in the global marketplace.
