The New Lemberg Children's Center

New Center Sketch

Lemberg Children's Center has officially moved! On June 10th, 2014 we moved into our brand new building on 457 Old Street. We are excited to expand our childcare facility to 70 young children on campus, including infants and toddlers. Construction began in September 2013. More conveniently for most parents the new center is located between Old South Street and South Street near the Brandeis athletic track and the Rabb School of Continuing Studies.

New Childcare Options!

Starting this fall the New Center will include infant care, expanded toddler care, and part-time care options. We will have six main clasrooms:

  • One infant classroom; 7 spaces; ages 2-14 mos.
  • One infant/toddler classroom; 7 spaces; ages TBD
  • Two toddler classrooms; 9 spaces each; ages 15-32 mos.
  • Two preschool classrooms; 19 spaces each; ages 33 mos.-6 yrs.

Apply now for spaces in 2014 and 2015!

About the Building

Classroom Rendering

The classrooms have 15 foot ceilings to accommodate our loft spaces. The 6,400 ft2 center is built into the hill between Old South St and South St which has a 30 foot grade from Old South Street to South Street, such that on the South St side only the second floor will be visible.

The fulfillment of this longtime dream brings many opportunities for parents and staff to build a better as well as bigger Lemberg Children’s Center. It is a wonderful advancement for the Brandeis, Waltham, and surrounding communities.
