Find More With OneSearch

The Brandeis Library has updated OneSearch to make it easier to find on our website and use to search for resources.

All OneSearch is the Default Search

The default search is now “All OneSearch,” which makes it easier for users to find more resources. All OneSearch searches everything in the Library Catalog as well as content from more than 2,700 publishers and databases, including the full-text of some articles and books. All OneSearch provides students and researchers with a broad overview of resources available for their topic, including articles, print books and e-books, media and more.

Book Cover Images Turned Off

We turned off book cover images in OneSearch to make results display more uniformly.

Easier Navigation Between Records

You can navigate to the next/previous record from the detailed record display.

New Chat Widget

Need additional help? Chat directly with a librarian through the newly-redesigned widget live on all OneSearch pages!

Easier to Sign In and Find Your Account

The sign-in option for OneSearch is also now easier to find on the page, making it more convenient for users to check loans and renew materials in My Account.

Export Citations and View Full Record From My Loans

New citation export options have been added for items you have checked out. To use this feature, go to "My Loans," select the item(s) you want to export, and click the three-dot icon at the upper right to see the citation export menu (EndNote, EndNote Web, and BibTex). You can also view full record details for items in My Loans by clicking on the title.
