Our 50th Reunion last year is now a wonderful memory, but thinking of it still causes me to start smiling broadly. It was a terrific experience. I hope that everyone who attended has the same great feelings about it. Now life moves on. Please continue to send in news about what you are doing these days. I still travel several times a year to London to visit my younger daughter and to California to visit my son — and, of course, their families. My older daughter, Jill Fried ’88, and her family live on the east coast of Florida, so visiting them is just a three-hour drive. I now have seven grandchildren between the ages of 20 years and 20 months. When not being a doting grandmother, I am the financial secretary of Temple Sinai, assistant treasurer of the Sarasota Opera Guild and a trustee of the Sarasota chapter of the Brandeis National Committee. These responsibilities, my family, and the overflowing cultural opportunities in Sarasota make me feel very fortunate.

Ellen Lapidus Stern invites you to look at her new website (www.artistlapidot.com), an archive of artwork and essays on art over the past 50 years.
