Charles Fox was named dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. He had been a professor and associate dean of the College of Health Professions at Wichita State University.

Beth Messinger Katten is chair of the Family Services/Community Outreach Committee for the Greater Hartford Autism Speaks Leadership Committee. She is a part-time library technician for the U.S. Courts Library in Hartford, Conn. She and her husband, Stuart, have two sons, ages 14 and 12.

Michael Bernstein of North Bethesda, Md., chair of Arnold and Porter’s national bankruptcy and corporate restructuring practice, was named to the board of directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Sheila Ali serves as director of the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination in Pittsburgh, which was recently featured on PBS and in Delta’s Sky magazine.
