Harilyn “Lyn” Rousso published her memoir, “Don’t Call Me Inspirational: A Disabled Feminist Talks Back.” Endorsed by Gloria Steinem, the book describes what it takes to overcome disability prejudice, not disability, and how to lead a wise, witty, outrageous life with, not despite, disability. A new mystery novel by Triss Finkelman Stein was published in February. “Brooklyn Bones” is about neighborhood change, old crimes that surface and being a parent — plus a few other fun topics. She writes, “It’s the start of a new series that folds stories of Brooklyn history into stories of old and new crime.” For more details, visit http://trissstein.com.
