Once again, it was great to hear the fantastic news you all have to share. I have some of my own exciting news, too: On April 14, I got engaged to Matthew Bernstein of Hollywood, Fla. We are planning an August wedding at the Westin in Waltham. Though it’s a total coincidence, it makes me happy to be getting married so close to the ’Deis!

Lisa (Primer) Petitte and her husband are expecting their first child in August. Matt Louik and Kate Pouilliard Louik ’06 celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on June 1. Jenny Shapiro and David Bagg were married on July 6 in New York City. David went to college with Jenny’s cousin Chris, so the two have known each other for years. They are thrilled to be taking this next step together. Edward Greenberg is a second-year resident in the Case MetroHealth Physician Scientist Pathway. He wrapped up his two clinical years in July, and is now conducting research into cancer and aging. In his free time, he plays the viola, runs, bikes, swing dances and explores the Cleveland area. Rachel Schneider graduated with her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in January. She currently splits her time between grant writing for the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and working as a psychotherapist in a private practice. She and her husband, Joshua Erich, live in Queens. Hannah Taytslin is director of the annual fund at the Cambridge School of Weston, a progressive day and boarding high school outside Boston. She’s excited to be part of a school that values social justice and puts students at the center of everything it does. Bryan and Joanna (Schleider) Lambert welcomed a baby girl, Hannah, on Jan. 24. The couple lives and works in Boston with their new daughter and a dog, Bear. Sam Hariton married Elizabeth Schulz on Sept. 8, 2012. William Rafelson, Heller MBA’09, married Tovah Tripp on April 28 at the Maplewood Country Club in New Jersey. They met at the Robert Wood Johnson campus of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In July, they began internal-medicine residencies at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
