Ruby Weinstock Fajer, MA’60, P’89, one of the Smith Hall gang of 1955, recently moved to New York. While strolling past Lincoln Center, she bumped into John Haskell. Amazingly, they recognized each other and made a plan to drive up to campus together for the next Reunion. One of our most diligent respondents, David White, PhD’65, recently started a free newspaper in Bloomington, Ind., devoted to social service agencies that reach people in need. David never fails to remind me to check on any news from his ex-wife, Paula Gordon White, who lives around the corner from him. What a great divorce! Another very special friend, David Goldberg, reports that longtime pal David Cohen has become a great-grandfather. They are neighbors in West Palm Beach, Fla. Our theater people continue to perform on stages around the country. Gigi Chazin Bennahum, P’92, choreographed “Dancing at Lughnasa” at the Adobe Theater in Albuquerque, N.M. Paula appeared in the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington’s production of “Handle With Care.” Dorry Peltyn Bates acted in an X-rated comedy, “Old Jews Telling Jokes,” at the Jewish Ensemble Theater in West Bloomfield, Mich. Annette Liberman Miller, MFA’76, continues her fabulous acting career and is a scholar at the Women’s Studies Research Center at Brandeis.
