It is pretty incredible that it will soon be 25 years since we graduated from Brandeis. It will be great to reconnect with you at Reunion and find out what everyone has been doing. Aron and I just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. We live in New York City with our daughters, ages 16 and 12.

Neurologist Seth Cahn joined the St. Vincent Medical Group in Indiana. Seth, who has a special interest in epilepsy, earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, in Indianapolis. Jeremy Deutsch writes, “Last year brought a very big change for me. We closed our old law firm, Deutsch, Metz & Deutsch, and I joined Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus as a partner in their NYC office. Norris is a 150-lawyer firm with offices in NYC, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I’m still doing what I did before — corporate and commercial litigation, and corporate work (day-to-day advisory and transactional) — but I’m doing it on a much larger platform and in a different part of town. So far, the move has been great. We should all try to change things up from time to time, and this year was my turn.” Allison Okun was named director of the nursery school at Temple Beth Israel in Port Washington, N.Y. The former director of early-childhood education at the Sid Jacobson JCC, she is experienced in early-childhood programming, primary Jewish education and kindergarten readiness. Robert Weinstock was a member of the scientific advisory board at the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s trade show in Chicago last year. He is the director of cataract and refractive services at the Eye Institute of West Florida and the Weinstock Laser Eye Center. He is also an associate clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of South Florida and serves as the surgical director of the Largo Ambulatory Surgery Center.
