Jonathan Ain, a partner at Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, was named a New York Metro Rising Star by Super Lawyers, recognized by his peers for his mergers and acquisitions work. Jonathan advises private investment firms, hedge funds, and public and private companies on a wide range of corporate and securities matters. Josh Block, president and CEO of the Israel Project, was named to the Forward 50 list of notable and newsworthy American Jews. Allison (Karlan) Kaplan and Shelby Kaplan had a baby boy, Adam Harrison, in April 2013. His three big sisters (Lilah, Tamra and Samantha) are having fun with him. The family lives in Arizona. David Kaufman was named editor of the real- estate/home and travel sections of the New York Post. Elizabeth Zeiders was made partner at the Conner & Winters office in Tulsa, Okla. Her practice focuses on commercial real-estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate services, and banking. Dana Weinberg self-published “Kings of Brighton Beach,” a novel about life in Brooklyn, written under the pen name D.B. Shuster. She is a sociology professor and assistant dean of social science at Queens College in New York.
