Anthony Medeiros was named a Donald M. Payne International Development Fellow by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The fellowships prepare students for careers as USAID foreign-service officers by providing funding to pursue a master’s degree. Chiara Bercu is a Global Health Corps Fellow and lives in Kasese, Uganda, where she works for Action for Community Development, a nonprofit that helps communities take responsibility for their own development and enact positive, lasting change. Sofya Bronshvayg married Benjy Cooper on Sept. 28, 2013, at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Mass. They met during their sophomore year at Brandeis.
