Jeffrey Badler has run Maurice Badler Fine Jewelry on New York City’s Park Avenue for 36 years. His wife of 34 years, Jennie Mintzer-Badler ’81, supervises the corporate headquarters, and Jeffrey manages the retail location. Their sons, Evan and Brian, earned their degrees from the University of North Carolina and the University of Maryland, respectively. Eric Cohen writes, “My wife, Robin, and I are sending off twins Jacob and Samantha to college, joining older sister Laura, who is a college senior. No Brandeisians, alas, but I tried! All of us are happy and healthy here in West Hartford, Connecticut.” Kate Dunn teaches Spanish at Brooklyn’s Berkeley Carroll School, where she has worked since 1988. Stacy (Rothaus) Poritzky, P’20, owns Vape Daddy’s — four e-cigarette stores in the Boston area — and serves as president of the Massachusetts Smoke Free Association, a group that advocates for tobacco harm reduction and vapor products. Her youngest son will play soccer at Brandeis beginning in the fall.
