Katie Albert joined the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty as an instructor of oncology and pediatrics. Her research focus is musculoskeletal tumors. Nina Auster Cusner, MA’05, MAT’07, and her family relocated to her hometown of Baltimore after living in Sharon, Massachusetts, for the past 10 years. She is teaching at Beth Tfiloh Day School, and her husband is working at McCormick. Mike Gotlib and wife Brett (Lowitz) ’05 welcomed a baby girl, Sunny Gabrielle, on Oct. 30, 2015. The family lives in Washington, D.C. Sharon (Israel) Grysman; husband Jeremy; and proud big siblings Ella, Jesse and Gabrielle welcomed a baby girl, Natalie Rose, on Oct. 31, 2015. Jeremy Hamburgh and his wife, Lisa, brought Charlotte Laila-May into the world in September 2015. Three weeks later, the family simchas continued with the wedding of Jeremy’s sister Michelle ’07 to Marcus Cohlan. Jeremy works at JPMorgan Chase and is developing a dating and connections site for people with special needs. Dan Hirshon’s new book, “Alice in Manhattan,” juxtaposes more than 60 stunning black-and-white photographs with selected prose from Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and re-imagines the classic on the streets of New York City. Sarah Graham Jones and her husband, Brent, welcomed their second daughter, Georgette Hazel, on Oct. 14, 2015. Corey Hope Leaffer married Zev Nicholson on Aug. 30, 2015. Brandeisians in attendance included Judy Nelson, Erin Hull ’05, Binta Cisse, Lauren Greis, Professor Gordie Fellman, Jocelyn Berger, Naomi Orensten, Paul Adler and Matt Shuman ’06. Jessica Levenson married Evan Durst on Oct. 11, 2015, at the Pittsburgh Field Club. A clinical psychologist and postdoctoral scholar, Jessica is studying sleep medicine in the psychiatry department at the University of Pittsburgh, from which she received a doctorate in clinical psychology. Evan is a trust adviser at PNC Bank. Robert Tanenbaum is associate general counsel at Navient (formerly known as Sallie Mae), where he manages nationwide litigation. Deborah (Berkman) Thomashow and her husband, Peter, welcomed daughter Molly on June 3, 2014.
