Zoe (Pollock) Di Novi, who lives in Toronto, is a growth manager at Wattpad, a free app that lets people discover and share stories about the things they love. Wattpad has some 40 million users and is available in more than 50 languages. Formerly, Zoe was a journalist at The Atlantic, the “PBS NewsHour” and Newsweek. In June 2015, Joanna Drusin and her husband, Andrew Spinello, welcomed a son, Sam Meyer, into their family. Elissa Glucksman Hyne and Jay Hyne had a baby girl, Lily Beth, on Aug. 11, 2015. Elissa is a senior policy analyst at Children’s Rights, a national advocacy organization that protects abused and neglected children. Jay works in the financial intelligence unit at American Express. She’s a psychotherapist living in Oakland, California. Arianna King is working on a PhD in urban sociology at Tulane. Rachel Resnick married Joshua Schulman on Nov. 7, 2015, at the Blue Hill Country Club, in Canton, Massachusetts. She is a senior marketing manager in The New York Times’ consumer marketing department. According to an NYT story, the couple met in 2011 on OkCupid; the site’s algorithm gave them a 97 percent compatibility rating. After completing her doctorate in clinical psychology, Tara (Strauss) Sager joined the Center for Health and Counseling Services at Ramapo College of New Jersey as a staff psychologist. Her husband, Ian, is an editorial manager at NBC’s “Today” show. He joined NBC in 2007, and has been part of the network’s digital operation ever since. Tara and Ian welcomed their first child, Liam, in September 2013. Joanna (Kaufman) Sapir is an Ice Girl for the New York Islanders hockey team. She has a 1-year-old daughter, Marilyn Rose. Rachel Present Schreter lives near Tel Aviv with her husband and 18-month-old son. After several years in the nonprofit industry, Rachel is enjoying working in high-tech, currently at Pareto Pulse, a small company focused on digitizing small-business lending for banks. Joshua Simmons was appointed to the International Trademark Association’s Internet committee. Erica Sorrentino is in her first year at the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Biddeford, Maine. She and her fiancé, Tim Cleary, are planning a summer wedding this year in York Beach. Lynn Spector, who received her MFA in dramaturgy from Columbia, is an artistic associate at the Musical Theatre Factory, in New York City. Melissa (Alter) Sussman, IBS MA’07, and her husband, Jeffrey, welcomed Zachary Hunter on April 9, 2015.
