Ike and Jeanette Goodman traveled to Cuba in October with a small group, including their daughter Andrea, who lives in Southern California. The Goodmans report that Dorothy Saval Levy, P’80, and her husband winter in Florida near their daughter Lauren Levy Brodie ’80, a judge. Norman and Sydney Abend visited the Goodmans in San Francisco recently; the Goodmans advised the Abends to try the rum and the cigars during their trip to Cuba. Bennett Gurian retired from clinical work in July. He still teaches and mentors first-year psychiatry residents. He is also writing his fourth book, painting watercolor seascapes, doing life drawing, practicing tai chi and waiting for his 12th grandchild to appear. Claire Yskamp, G’21, proudly announces that one of her four grandchildren, Anke Larsen-Yskamp ’21, is a Brandeis freshman.
