Class Correspondent

It is 66 years since we began our freshman year. Although we are now senior citizens, I still picture us studying history with Frank Manuel and Max Lerner in Ford Hall. Send in your Class Notes to share what’s new and good in your lives. Mark and I are reconnecting with Brandeis through Sam Aronson ’21, our grandson, who ended the recent semester with all A’s and is making friendships we hope will last a lifetime.

Herb Lewis continues his work as a cultural anthropologist, attending conferences, maintaining contacts with scholars worldwide and writing. His most recent publications focus on the history of anthropology and the histories of anthropologists. Herb and his wife, Francie, who finally retired from a long, rewarding career as director of senior services at Jewish Social Services, still enjoy the rich cultural, social and Jewish community life in Madison, Wisconsin.
