Sixty-one years after graduation, five classmates — Sheila Fischman Appel, Eva Fischer Beller, Bobbie Ball Buff, Eva Newbrun and Ray Lee Ranis — met for lunch to catch up and reminisce. Barbara Weinstock lives in Arkansas, where she serves as a justice of the peace (she has married more than 350 couples). She is also executive director of a community foundation. She enjoys playing bridge, which she learned 60 years ago while sitting on the floor in Hamilton Hall and smoking Pall Malls. She has four children, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Five of the male grandchildren are in the military. Her oldest son is a retired colonel.
