Edgardo and Danielle Raskin Mayes celebrated daughter Madeline’s bat mitzvah on June 10 in Brooklyn. Rada Miller is senior external manufacturing investigator for over-the-counter medications at Johnson & Johnson. She and husband Paul have three children: Aaron, 11; Josh, 9; and Maya, 7. The family lives in eastern Pennsylvania. Umanga Pandey, IBS MA’99, and Kavita Srinivasan live in Kathmandu, Nepal, where they established Kehi Garoun, an organization that works with college youth, activists and educators to create mindful actions that help others. Umanga has been recognized as a Young Asian Leader by the Asia Society. Evan Rudnicki has joined Black Marjieh Leff & Sanford as an associate. He is a litigator focused on premises liability, construction law, general liability and contract disputes. Andrej Salner lives in Bratislava, Slovakia, with his wife, Sona, and two children. He is managing partner at Pizza SEO, a leading Slovak digital marketing consultancy. Camilo Smith is a writer and freelance journalist in Houston. Miriam Heller Stern is national director of the School of Education at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles. Don Zinman, associate professor of political science at Michigan’s Grand Valley State University, wrote “The Heir Apparent Presidency,” published last year by the University Press of Kansas. The book looks at the track records of U.S. presidents who have tried to build on the legacy of a truly transformative presidency (such as Jefferson’s, Lincoln’s or Reagan’s).
