Rabbi Getzel Davis was named to Combined Jewish Philanthropies’ Chai in the Hub, a list of 18 movers and shakers from Boston’s 45-and-under crowd who have made outstanding contributions to the Jewish community. Getzel is founder and director of Unorthodox Celebrations, and an associate rabbi and Jewish educator at Harvard Hillel. Former Brandeis soccer players Christine Fulton and Jordan Skolnick were married on April 16, 2016, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Many alumni were on hand to join in the celebration. Jordan was named senior associate athletic director for development at the University of Delaware. He was previously at Michigan. Kate Gardiner, whose digital agency DSTL has advised more than 60 media companies, was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list of young innovators in the media. Kate Housman joined the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir as its operations manager. To celebrate its 80th season, the choir traveled to pre­sent the New York premiere of the oratorio “Zabur” (composed by Mohammed Fairouz and commissioned by the choir) at Carnegie Hall. Francesca (Amdurer) Kuehlers and her husband, Jens, welcomed a son, Jakob Tobias, on April 9, 2015, in Berlin. Sam Levor graduated from the NYU School of Law and joined the Washington, D.C., office of Skadden as an associate. Jacob Olidort was recognized by Syria Deeply as one of eight “experts to watch” among authorities on Syria’s Islamist groups. David Spear has worked since 2010 as a claims analyst in the professional liability department at AIG. He married Lora Green in September 2015. They live in northern New Jersey.
