Julie and Mark Miller, P’13, P’16, P’19, P’22, celebrated the wedding of their son Andrew ’16 to Leora Kagedan ’17 on Aug. 10. Alumni attendees included Scott Hausen and Andrea (Birnbaum) Lewis. Mark and Julie attended their ninth consecutive Fall Fest/Family Weekend at Brandeis in October. They visited Jerry ’19, who plays on the Gefilte Swish intramural basketball team, the same team that lost in the championship game some 30 years ago when Mark served as captain. Mark and Julie recently visited Israel to see their youngest daughter, Ashley ’22, who will become a Brandeis freshman in fall 2018. Reva Schlessinger Winston thoroughly enjoyed the 30th Reunion, engaging in nostalgia and creating new memories with Cara Aber Mandell, Monica Hurwitz Kaden, Tamar Wyner Herman and others. She says she especially loved the slideshow that played during dinner. Reva also visited with former Modmate Terri Emmer Cook over the summer and caught up with Ivy Lashley Mauser during a long phone call. Her oldest son, Ethan, graduated from Syracuse’s Whitman School of Management, and her two younger kids are into theater, music, skiing and all things electronic.
