Last year’s 50th Reunion continued on at the home of Phyllis Cohen ’66 and Jeff Lazarus, in North Egremont, Massachusetts. Sally Rosen-Webb, Olubanke King-Akerele, Elisa Hill, Maxine Haft White, Ellen Novack ’68, Marcia Raden Wagschal, Lisa Finkelstein and Phyllis Rebell Osterman spent three days with Phyllis and Jeff, sharing memories, laughter, food, wine, walking and Pilates. Nancy Hurwich Oley, who retired as an emerita professor of psychology, is pursuing interests in journalism and media with the Long Island Media Task Force. She is the co-author of “Theory of Constraints: Creative Problem Solving.” Sidney Wolinsky is a film editor who received award nominations from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the Academy Awards and American Cinema Editors for his work on Guillermo del Toro’s monster romance fantasy “The Shape of Water.” He’s also worked on “The Sopranos” and “House of Cards,” and won an Emmy for editing the first episode of “Boardwalk Empire” under director Martin Scorsese. Alan Yoffie, author of “Sharing the Journey: The Haggadah for the Contemporary Family,” is offering the Brandeis community a 40 percent “friends of the author” discount on the price of the volume, which is published by the nonprofit Central Conference of American Rabbis Press. Alan is former president of Temple Emanuel in Worcester, Massachusetts.
