I’ve been named partner at law firm Nixon Peabody in Boston, where I practice in the government investigations and white-collar defense group.

Rachel Barckhaus married Nicholas Almendares in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on June 16. Dana Beck and Michael Sackton ’01 were guests. Thomas Dawkins has been named music director and organist at Tufts University. He can be seen and heard at Goddard Chapel most Sunday evenings as well as in concerts throughout the year. Jeannelle (Ferreira) D’Isa’s latest book, “The Covert Captain,” was published in March. “Same stuff I wrote in ‘Laurel Moon,’” she reports, “but now Publishers Weekly likes it!” Jennifer Kanarek is the associate director of major gifts, New York regional office, at the University of Pennsylvania. Sarah Alexandra Pluscarr has launched a business that takes healing arts, movement, yoga and meditation into law firms and corporate offices. A former litigation associate, Sarah brings her own experience in big law — and her personal transformation outside the office — to her new venture. Stephanie Szostek lives in Richland, Washington, with her husband and two cats. She is a postdoc at Washington State University’s Clean Plant Center Northwest.
